Ford Performance partnered with Whipple Superchargers to build a kit that doesn't just make big numbers on a dyno -- it makes them reliably, repeatedly, and within Ford's engineering tolerances. The result is the M-6066-M8800 supercharger kit for the 2024-2026 5.0L Mustang GT and Dark Horse.
At its core is the new Gen 6 3.0L Whipple supercharger with an inverted twin-screw design and a patented dual-pass intercooler. Add a 92mm throttle body, GT500 port fuel injectors, colder spark plugs, and a Ford Racing exclusive calibration loaded with the Tomahawk tune tool, and you've got 810 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque on premium pump gas.
It's the same kit you can buy direct from Ford Performance for $10,500. But buying the kit is the easy part. Getting it installed correctly by a Ford-certified shop is what protects your warranty and your investment -- and that's where Lasco comes in.

Not For Older Mustangs
If you own a 2015-2023 GT or earlier, this kit is not for you -- but we have other Ford Performance supercharger options. Call us.
Important Things to Know Before You Buy
- Premium fuel required. 91+ octane only. This is not optional -- the calibration requires it.
- Factory strut tower brace is not compatible. It has to come off, and Ford does not currently offer a replacement brace that fits. We can advise on aftermarket options.
- California 2026 model year: The kit is CARB-certified (EO# D-231-129) for 2024 and 2025 models, but is not currently available for California 2026 model year Mustangs. 2024 and 2025 cars are fine.
- Power output: 810 HP / 615 lb-ft applies to Mustangs with active exhaust. Non-active-exhaust cars make 800 HP (10 HP less). Torque is unchanged.

Does the supercharger void my Mustang's factory warranty?
Adding any aftermarket part to your Mustang can affect warranty coverage on related components -- that's true of any modification. However, the M-6066-M8800 kit comes with its own 3-year / 36,000-mile Ford Performance warranty covering the kit and the powertrain components affected by it, when the kit is installed by a Ford dealer like Lasco and registered through Ford Performance Tech-line. In practice, the powertrain protection you walk out with is comparable to factory coverage -- but it has to be installed correctly.
How long does the installation take?
A full install with calibration flash, warranty registration, and dyno verification typically takes 2 to 4 business days depending on our schedule and what else your Mustang might need (fluids, plugs, additional upgrades). We'll give you a firm timeline when we schedule your appointment.
Will it work with my automatic transmission?
Yes. The M-6066-M8800 is engineered for both manual and 10-speed automatic 2024-2026 Mustang GTs and Dark Horses. The Ford Racing calibration accounts for both transmission types.
Can I buy the kit from Ford and have Lasco install it?
Yes, but our customers usually prefer to buy the kit through us. That way we handle the order, ensure the parts are correct for your VIN, and you get a single point of contact for kit, install, calibration, and warranty registration. Either way works -- call us and we'll talk through what makes sense.
Can you install it on a brand-new Mustang before I take delivery?
Yes -- this is one of the things Lasco specializes in. You order or pick out a new 2025 or 2026 Mustang GT or Dark Horse through us, we take delivery at the dealership, install the supercharger and complete the warranty registration, and you take delivery of a brand-new Mustang with 810 HP and zero miles on the upgraded combination.
Do you offer financing for the install?
Yes. For the install portion of the package, we offer service financing through Sunbit, which lets you split the bill into monthly payments with no impact to your credit score. If you're buying a new Mustang from us with the kit installed, financing the package is handled through our standard new-vehicle finance team.
What about a Procharger or other competing supercharger?
There are other supercharger options on the market -- Procharger, Edelbrock, ROUSH, and others. They all make power. The reason most of our customers choose the Ford Racing kit is the 3-year / 36,000-mile Ford-backed warranty and the fact that the calibration was developed by the same engineers who built the engine. It's the only option that's factory-engineered specifically for the new-generation 5.0L.
Will I need an exhaust upgrade or other supporting mods?
The kit is engineered to make rated power with the factory exhaust. An aftermarket exhaust (Borla, MBRP, Ford Performance) can improve sound and shave a few horsepower of restriction, but it's not required. We can quote exhaust and other supporting upgrades when you bring your Mustang in.
