2027 Ford Bronco RTR
Raptor cooling hardware. Badlands-grade HOSS 3.0 Fox suspension. Race-derived anti-lag turbo technology. Factory-built at Michigan Assembly Plant. Priced under the Badlands with Sasquatch Package. The Bronco RTR fills the gap between capability and cost—and it arrives January 2027.
Raptor Performance.
Without the Raptor Price.
For years, Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s RTR Vehicles built Bronco RTRs through an upfitter and sold them as pre-titled vehicles. The hardware was capable. The cost was high. Starting with the 2027 model year, that changes entirely.
The 2027 Bronco RTR is factory-built at Michigan Assembly Plant alongside every other Bronco. Ford has confirmed the price will undercut the Badlands with the Sasquatch Package—currently around $57,000. Developed and validated at Johnson Valley, California—the terrain where King of the Hammers is held.
Ed Krenz, Bronco Chief Program Engineer: “Bronco RTR fills a new space in the lineup, offering two levels of capability so it's ready from the factory for thrill-seeking customers—delivering high-speed, competition-inspired performance without the custom-build price tag.”

What the RTR
Actually Brings
Every component on the RTR was chosen for a reason. Raptor hardware where it matters most. Badlands suspension where it earns its keep. Race software because the desert does not care about budgets.
1,000-Watt Cooling Fan
The Raptor's heavy-duty cooling fan keeps engine temps in check during extended hard running in sand, mud, and desert heat. Standard on every RTR. Most Bronco trims do not get this.
Anti-Lag Turbo Technology
When you lift off the throttle, the system keeps the turbo spooled. Get back on the gas and the power is already there. Instant, consistent response on any terrain—competition-derived technology standard on every RTR.
Reinforced Raptor Steering
Heavier-duty steering rack and tie rods straight from the Raptor. Built for the loads of rock crawling and high-speed off-road use. The standard Bronco steering is not spec'd for what the RTR is expected to do.
17" Beadlock-Capable Wheels
Factory beadlock-capable wheels with Hyper Lime rock rings. Air down without the tire rolling off the rim. No aftermarket required. 33-inch all-terrain tires mounted from the factory on every RTR.
High-Clearance Suspension
Standard high-clearance suspension with a wider track—first for any factory Bronco. Combined with 33-inch tires, the stance is aggressive before you add a single option. Sasquatch adds Fox HOSS 3.0.
HOSS 3.0 with Fox Shocks
The Sasquatch Package brings Fox Internal Bypass Dampers—previously exclusive to the Badlands and Stroppe Edition. The most capable Bronco suspension short of the Raptor's HOSS 4.0. Includes 35-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires.

Choose Your

Every Bronco RTR wears Hyper Lime inside and out. This is RTR's signature—the same identity applied to every RTR Vehicles build for over a decade. It is not a package. Interior designer Lindsay Ross: “When you reach for the seatbelt, you are reminded that we engineered this product to have fun and do cool stuff. And it's always ready to rock.”

FAQ
What does RTR stand for and who built it?
RTR stands for Ready to Rock. RTR Vehicles is the performance company founded by Vaughn Gittin Jr., a two-time Formula Drift champion and longtime Ford partner. RTR has been building performance Fords since 2010, including Mustang RTR packages, Formula Drift race cars, and previously upfitter-built Bronco RTRs sold through dealers as pre-titled vehicles. Starting with the 2027 model year, Ford moved RTR production in-house to Michigan Assembly Plant. The 2027 Bronco RTR is the first factory-built Bronco RTR in the nameplate's history—same hardware as the specialist builds, lower price, full factory warranty, titled and financed as a new vehicle.
How is the RTR different from the Badlands and the Raptor?
The Badlands is optimized for technical slow-speed rock crawling with HOSS 2.0 Bilstein dampers, a front stabilizer bar disconnect, and rock crawl specific G.O.A.T. modes. The Raptor is the full-send desert racer at around $82,000, with 418 HP and HOSS 4.0 Fox Live Valve dampers. The RTR occupies a different lane: it is tuned for higher-speed trail running and desert performance. Anti-lag turbo software, Raptor cooling hardware, Raptor steering, and high-clearance suspension with a wider track are all calibrated for speed on loose terrain rather than technical crawling. Add the Sasquatch Package and you get Fox HOSS 3.0 shocks and 35-inch Goodyears, putting the RTR at near-Raptor capability for significantly less money.
What is the anti-lag turbo system?
Turbochargers need exhaust flow to maintain boost. When you lift off the throttle, exhaust flow drops, the turbo loses spool, and there is a delay before full power returns when you get back on the gas. The RTR's anti-lag system addresses this by keeping the throttle plate partially open when you lift off—air continues flowing through the engine, the turbo stays spooled, and throttle response is immediate every time you need power. Ford describes this as software-operated and race-derived because the technology originates in competition applications where consistent power delivery through throttle transitions is critical. It is standard on all RTR builds.
How much will the 2027 Bronco RTR cost?
Ford has not confirmed specific pricing as of April 2026. However, Ford has publicly committed that the 2027 RTR will start below the price of the Bronco Badlands with the Sasquatch Package, currently around $57,000 including destination. Pricing will be confirmed when order banks open in October 2026. Automotive publication estimates have placed the standard RTR in the low-to-mid $50,000 range with the Sasquatch configuration above that. Lasco Ford will have confirmed pricing the moment Ford releases it. Call (810) 390-5550 and we will update you immediately when October arrives.
How is this different from the old upfitter-built Bronco RTRs?
Before 2027, every Bronco RTR was built by RTR Vehicles at an independent upfitter facility after leaving Ford's assembly line. The result was a pre-titled vehicle—technically used the moment you purchased it—which affected financing options, residual values, and warranty structure. The 2027 RTR is built at Michigan Assembly Plant on Ford's own production line. It is a new vehicle, titled new, backed by Ford's full factory warranty, and financed through normal new-vehicle channels. It also eliminates the upfitter margin from the price, which is the primary reason Ford can price it under the Badlands Sasquatch while delivering the same or better hardware.
