Since Tremor® debuted on Super Duty® in 2020, the single most common customer request has been to offer it with an 8-foot bed. For 2027, Ford delivers. The Tremor® Off-Road Package is now available on Crew Cab models with the 176-inch wheelbase and full 8-foot cargo box.
That combination — off-road performance hardware with maximum cargo space — opens up new possibilities for overlanders, camper haulers, and contractors who need both the bed and the trail capability.

What is new on the 2027 Ford Super Duty®?+

When can I order a 2027 Ford Super Duty®?+

What engines are available on the Super Duty®?+
The Super Duty® offers four engine options. The base 6.8L V8 gas produces 405 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque and is standard on XL trim. The available 7.3L V8 gas delivers 430 hp and 485 lb-ft and is standard from XLT up. For diesel buyers, the 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 is offered in standard output (475 hp / 1,050 lb-ft) and High Output (500 hp / 1,200 lb-ft) versions. All engines pair with a 10-speed TorqShift® automatic transmission.
What is the difference between the F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550?+
The F-250 is the entry Super Duty® pickup, ideal for drivers who need serious towing and hauling beyond what the F-150 can handle — up to 22,000 lbs conventional towing. The F-350 steps up with available dual rear wheels for greater stability and higher payload capacity (up to 8,000 lbs). The F-450 is purpose-built for maximum towing, capable of up to 40,000 lbs gooseneck with the High Output diesel. The F-550 is the heavy-hauler of the family, available primarily as a chassis cab for commercial upfits and specialty builds. All models share the same engine lineup and trim structure.
What is the Tremor® Off-Road Package and is it worth it?+
Tremor® is Ford's most capable factory off-road package for Super Duty®. It includes 35-inch off-road tires, a factory suspension lift, an electronic locking rear differential, front and rear skid plates, Trail Control low-speed cruise control, and Rock Crawl Mode. For 2027, Tremor® is now available on all trims including XL (with STX Package) and in the long-bed Crew Cab configuration with an 8-foot bed. If you regularly go off-pavement, haul equipment into remote job sites, or want serious factory hardware without aftermarket modifications, Tremor® is absolutely worth it.
