BORN ON THE
RACE TRACK

The Ford Mustang GTD isn't just a street car that goes fast — it's a race-proven supercar distilled from the Mustang GT3 that podiumed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. At Lasco Ford, we don't just sell the GTD — we live it. Jay Lasco owns one and drives it on track. Watch the official Ford story and our own Lasco Ford GTD delivery below.

ENGINEERED
WITHOUT LIMITS

Every figure on the GTD exists because Ford Performance refused to accept boundaries — unbound by race regulations, free to be the fastest Mustang ever built.

815hp
Supercharged Predator V8
5.2-liter supercharged V8 @ 7,400 rpm — the most powerful street-legal Mustang engine Ford has ever built. The GTD Competition pushes beyond this figure with hardware updates and aggressive tuning.
664lb·ft
Peak Torque @ 4,800 RPM
Massive torque delivered through an 8-speed dual-clutch transaxle for instant, brutal acceleration.
202mph
Top Speed
The fastest production Mustang ever. 325 km/h achieved with active aerodynamics and race-derived suspension in track mode.
6:52 / 6:40
Nürburgring — GTD / Competition
Standard GTD: 6:52.072 — first American production car under 7 minutes. GTD Competition: 6:40.835 (April 17, 2026) — 6th fastest of all time in the Pre-Production class, driven by Dirk Müller.
40mm
Track Mode Ride Drop
A push of a button activates the hydraulic suspension, dropping ride height for reduced drag and maximum downforce on track.
50/50
Weight Distribution
Rear-mounted 8-speed transaxle and carbon-fiber driveshaft achieve near-perfect weight balance for razor-sharp handling dynamics.

*Specs per Ford Motor Company official documentation. GTD is a limited-production vehicle. Competition HP output not yet officially disclosed by Ford. Contact Lasco Ford for current availability and allocation information.

FORD OWNS
AMERICAN NÜRBURGRING HISTORY

The standard GTD was the first American car under 7 minutes. Now the GTD Competition has gone further — posting the 6th fastest time ever in the Pre-Production class. Ford now holds the two fastest American times ever recorded at the Nordschleife.

The Mustang GTD Competition didn't just break a record — it shattered its own predecessor's benchmark by over 11 seconds, posting the 6th fastest time ever recorded in the Nürburgring Pre-Production and Prototype class. Ford now holds the two fastest American times in Nordschleife history.

The Engineer's Run

Ford Racing engineer Steve Thompson also piloted the GTD Competition to 6:49.337 — faster than the original GTD record — with fewer than 40 cumulative Nürburgring laps in his career. It's a testament to just how capable this car is in the hands of a non-professional driver.

WHAT MAKES THE
COMPETITION DIFFERENT

01

More Power

Hardware updates and aggressive tuning push the GTD Competition's supercharged 5.2-liter V8 beyond the standard GTD's 815 hp. Ford has not yet officially disclosed the final output figure.

02

Advanced Aerodynamics

Building on the DRS system, the Competition adds rear wing modifications, secondary front dive planes, and rear carbon fiber aero discs to increase total downforce without sacrificing balance.

03

Increased Grip

New high-performance tires developed specifically for the Competition package provide the additional mechanical grip needed to support the increased power and downforce.

04

Weight Reduction

Magnesium wheels, new carbon bucket seats, a lighter damper system, and additional mass reduction throughout the vehicle reduce unsprung weight and improve response.

⚠ Availability

The GTD Competition will only be offered as a limited, serialized, street-legal special edition in strictly controlled quantities. Applications are open now at themustanggtd.com. Contact Jay Lasco at Lasco Ford to discuss your options.

ONE OF THE FIRST
IN THE NATION

When Lasco Ford received one of the earliest Mustang GTD allocations in the country, Ford sent GTD Delivery Specialist Steve Coates to Fenton to personally walk Jay Lasco through every detail of the car. Then Jay did what most GTD owners haven't: he took it straight to the track, becoming one of the first GTD owners in Michigan to put it on circuit — and setting a lap record at Grattan Raceway in the process.

This isn't just a transaction at Lasco Ford. It's an experience backed by real ownership and real track time. Every customer gets the same white-glove attention — and advice from someone who has actually pushed a GTD to its limits at speed.
