Under the carbon fiber hood of the Mustang GTD sits a supercharged 5.2L V8 engine projected to produce approximately 815 horsepower. Paired with a dry sump oil system and rear-mounted 8-speed dual-clutch transaxle for optimized weight distribution, the GTD delivers power with precision. Its active aerodynamics system includes an available hydraulically controlled rear wing and unique front aero features for enhanced downforce at high speeds.

Built on a modified version of the S650 Mustang chassis, the GTD takes handling to a new level with its semi-active suspension, adjustable spring rates, and hydraulically actuated pushrod system. This suspension setup offers road-going comfort and track-ready sharpness in one sophisticated package. An aggressive stance, widened track, and massive 20-inch forged magnesium wheels - available as an option - make the Mustang GTD as functional as it is menacing.

The body features extensive use of carbon fiber components, including the fenders, hood, trunk lid, door sills, front splitter, rear diffuser, and roof. These lightweight materials not only reduce mass but also contribute to the car's aerodynamic efficiency. Large Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes are standard, ensuring fade-resistant stopping power under extreme conditions.

Inside, the Mustang GTD offers a race-inspired yet refined cockpit. RECARO® performance seats, titanium paddle shifters, and premium materials underline its dual personality - a track monster with real-world comfort. The rear seat has been deleted for weight savings, and the digital cockpit is optimized for performance metrics and driver-focused control.

Production of the Mustang GTD will be extremely limited, with hand-built assembly taking place in partnership with Multimatic, the same company behind the Ford GT.

Whether carving corners at your favorite track or turning heads on the boulevard, the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD is the ultimate expression of what a modern muscle car can become - raw power, refined engineering, and unmistakable Mustang soul.
